A true percussionist Mahesh has been performing for more than a decade. He plays Indian rhythm instruments like Tabla, Dholak, Dholki, Kutchi Dhol. He also plays and performs on the congo, bongo & similar percussion instruments.

He has been regularly playing with the queen of dandiya Ms. Phalguni Pathak for a number of years. He has also accompanied many ghazal artists, classical singers, bhajan singers, hindi orchestra singers and various other genres of music & musicians.
